Greetings from the Symphony!
The office is abuzz with activity in preparation for our third annual POPS UNDER THE STARS outdoor concert! This has become a signature event in the city, and we’re anticipating the biggest crowd to date. On Friday, September 8th the lovely downtown Plaza de Las Cruces will be filled with beautiful music performed by 70 LCSO musicians, the 100 member NMSU Masterworks Chorus, guest solo vocalist Diane Penning, and of course our wonderful Lonnie Klein conducting. It’s going to be thrilling!
There will be delicious food and beverages, including beer and wine, for purchase before and throughout the concert, all under a beautiful New Mexico evening sky. What a wonderful way to enjoy the best season in Southern New Mexico!
General admission open seating tickets are $15. The gates open at 5:30pm and the concert begins at 7:30pm. Since its first come first served, we’re encouraging people to get there early to secure the best seats. Want to feel like a VIP and avoid the crowd? We have just the option for you! Purchase a VIP table seat for $50. For only $35 more than general admission you’ll have a reserved seat at a table directly in front of the stage! Or, get a group of friends together and purchase a table of 10 for $500. Those of you who have been to this event the past two years know that VIP is the way to go. Tables and table seating is very limited and selling
